Ethanol damage/fuel stabilizer
Interesting. If you have a carb, you are most certainly familiar with what the inside of it will look like from exposure to ethanol.

Have to watch more closely later but I was impressed with his electric drill gas engine starter.

Yeah, exposure with unused fuel. Having had boats all my life I am familiar with ethanol fuel in carburetors but never had a problem if you constantly run fuel through them. Sitting causes problems.

I had issues with one of my carbs due to ethanol fuel. The rubber tip on one of my carb bowl float needles deteriorated and I was dumping a sh!t-load of fuel into my engine while it was running. I picked up a couple "needles", installed one and kept the other in the car for a spare. I'm not sure if Holley makes ones that are E10 resistant.

We have non ethanol fuel available so I very rarely use anything else and especially when a vehicle is in storage ...no bueno ......

Float Bowl
I thought of this picture you posted from a while back when I was watching the video. Probably why I take my bowls off every winter and clean them.

Can happen to any carburettor if a piece of solid debris gets in to the jetting.
I seen grass, fuel line rubber, sand etc, and well as general fines that cheap fuel filters don't stop. A bit harder to sort on the average Holley metering block, since the emulsion tubes are harder to remove than most carbs. |

I wish I could find no ethanol real gas near me. I swear by stabil. If I know I'm not going to drive the car for more than a week, I fill it and add stabil. Been doing that with my motorcycles for years and never a problem.
