Cobera Electric Cobra replica at LA Auto Show

I saw the newly released Cobera ( Cobra looking replica ) at the LA Auto Show yesterday. No specs or details at the display, and the representatives were scarce. The brochure says to visit: cobera-automotive.com and that site was even less helpful. Does anyone out there have any info on this electric car ? Mark

I suppose silence is to be expected.

I wouldn't take an electric Cobra even if you gave it to me. You'd have to put a suitcase full of cash in the boot to even get my attention and even then I'd probably say no.

Use the cash to buy a synthesised v8 soundtrack with speakers in the sidepipes

Use the cash to buy a Kirkham, then sell the sewing machine to some other schmuck. .

Yuk!!

I remember an electric-motor Cobra several years ago (maybe ten). I think it may have been a Kirkham aluminum 427 car, and a road test/acceleration test. May have been in a magazine, maybe online. Much later, this Cobra was for sale without the electric motor on ebay. Somewhat foggy memory, but I'm sure of it.

That does nothing for me. Wonder if it meets all the crash testing ? I have been in a new Plaid. 400+ range with 925hp:eek: Car is unbelievably FAST. It a riot on the street. NO spinning tires. Just go's :3DSMILE:

With that lack of website info, lack of Reps present, literature, etc.. the car is probably a one-off, proof of concept to test the waters.

Judging from the Camaro electric concept reception and the Superformance MKIII-E folks may warm up to it. Granted the 1st to purchase will be those who want the look and not the hassle (to them) of owning a petrol burner.
