My contribution to bringing joy to the holiday is this true story from my home in Alabama here in the deep South. I was in a local department store in mid-December when I heard the following conversation on the next aisle between a woman shopper and a male employee.
Woman: "Do you have a Hanukkah section?
Employee (with a deep southern drawl): No ma'am, we don't have a Heineken section. In fact I don't think we sell beer at all."
