A Cobra from long ago
I thought I would post this just for the heck of it after reading the history of CSX2410. In about 1968 or so I was not old enough to drive but I remember a red Cobra very well. I lived two blocks from Fairmont State College in Fairmont WV. There was a college kid that drove a red Cobra to school. I had seen the car driving up and down the road in front of the college many times as I was just a young car crazy kid hanging out at the gas station. I would also cruise Fairmont State's parking lots on my bike looking for the Cobra and other cool cars. I thought it would be neat if someone here on the forum was the owner of that beautiful red Cobra or knew the the owner. The car had to be almost new at the time and if my memory serves me right I think he would wear a helmet at times driving the car.
Like I said maybe someone on the forum knows or knew the owner or how cool would it be if someone on here was that lucky college kid. Thanks for reading.

I'm not sure on the color of Bill's other cars outside of CSX2410, but at the time he was living around Morgantown, WV. In the late 60s/early 70s he also owned a SC and 427 street as well. I believe he had mentioned he was in college at the time, but said he drove the cars all the time and they served as his daily drivers. I need to reach back out to him and get some more information with regards to the other cars he had owned.

Morgantown and Fairmont are only about 15 miles apart and each town has a university. I drove to Morgantown just about every weekend. Back in those days we drove just to be driving.
