Gentlemen.

The date of the article is December of 2021 but it might be a reprint. What I did find interesting was a link in the story to an old article talking about how Shelby tried to pawn off the first continuation cobras as left over originals at outrageous prices.

So you had never heard of the "completion cars" before?

None had been sold for a long time, but not that long ago SAI had 3 more built by different vendors. Kirkham built one of them. If you go to SAI and ask them, they will probably make one for you and give it a CSX30xx serial number.

I already own a Cobra. I am not that much interested in the blow by blow description of Cobra history. I was in High School when they first came out but there was never much interest in them here on the East Coast. We looked at them as a West Coast novelty item. The link to story about Shelby trying to sell the first continuations for 500k as originals was interesting until he was found out. He did have sort of a con man rep.
