It's time to have your carbs properly tuned to give 14.7:1 air fuel ratio at low throttle settings - I'm sure many here have not done that. Also check that your Vacuum advance is giving enough advance - on my Chevy that's a total advance of around 48 degrees at under 3000 revs at low throttle.
There's a lot of fuel savings to be gained by doing the above, if you haven't already as most of one's mileage is done at low throttle settings. |
