Yes, some of those big-ass audio systems do pull a lot of amps and you pretty much have to wire them directly to the battery. And they don't even look like Chinese M-80's either.:cool:

A longer run from the battery to the starter motor only increases the resistance. On an inductive load, like a starter motor, that's all the more reason NOT to have a fuse on the line. Mostly, I think the original guy that put it on there just didn't know what he was doing and thought it was a smart thing to do. Since you have a pack of fuses there in your glove box, just leave it as is but if you find it blows the fuse from time to time just rip it out.:cool:
