New owner. Build documentation and vehicle facts.
Hello. I have recently acquired a 1966 Shelby Cobra replica. I am eager to learn details regarding the build, engine, transmission etc. Unfortunately I did not receive much documentation from the seller aside from a very nice chronological photo album. Can I input the vin number on some site that will give me the vehicles facts. Can I register my car for documentation. Thank you.

It is unlikely your VIN will provide much info. I suggest you start by finding out which company made the parts for your car and about when it was made. You can start that process by posting photos of your car here. Include photos of the frame, suspension, engine compartment, cockpit and body (front, side and rear). Look at the Stickys on the ALL COBRA TALK forum for guidance on how and when you can post photos.

Start with some pictures of the body off the frame showing full suspension. Perhaps the VIN (if not state issued) would narrow it down, as most, but not all manufacturers issued a MSO with VIN.
