Brake/clutch pedal assembly
2 Attachment(s)
I recently purchased my Cobra rep and love it! However it does have an automatic, which is going to be swapped out for a TKX 5 speed asap. Looking to see if anyone has used the Willwood or Tilton style pedal combos?

So, before you jump in with both feet (pun intended), you might want to tell us who the manufacturer of your Cobra replica is? I say this as not all are set up for a hanging pedal assembly, some are floor mounted (like the originals).

Sorry, good point. Manufacture is LA Exotic which is now B&B I believe? I have looked at it a bit and believe I should have plenty of room with the existing pedal support removed on the inside and there is plenty of room on the engine bay side for the masters.
And it does have a dropped floor on the driver side

Should have plenty of room, just might to work on your angles. What's your build?

A friend has dropped footboxs and his pedals mounted very high. You have to reach for them. Not good for the track but great for cruising.

My Cobra had top mounted pedals attached to reinforced fiberglass. The master cylinders were mounted to the fiberglass front wall of the footwell and they were also reinforced. I installed Tilton floor mounted pedals in my Cheetah and had to reinforce the sheet metal floor to keep it from flexing under application of the brake pedal. ... My point is that the mounting surface(s) must be strong as well as conveniently located. That may shape your decision.
