Breadvan Cobra?

Anyone know anything about this breadvan Cobra?

I was able to find that CSX 2001 had a breadvan hardtop while in France, but I'm guessing this is a recreation?

The original cobra configured this way at one time in it’s racing history was CSX2001. The Cobra in the photo is not the original CSX2001 as it is located in Southern California.

The only reference I could find to CSX2001 with its breadvan add-on was when it raced at the Paris 1000km race (round 20 of the World Sportscar Championship) in 1964.
Not true, apparently, the rumour that he was removed because he was too ugly to be parked next to a Ferrari 250 GTO ....CSX2001 retired with engine problems.

Here's another picture of him...

Note how the rear fender flare is blended into the door.

Cheers!

CSX2001 was the first Cobra sold. Ed Hugus sold it in Pittsburgh. Don't know how much Ed had to do with that hard top. but he was very important in the early racing of the Cobra's, down in the Bahamas, and Le Mans! If it wasn't for Ed and Tasca, the whole Cobra venture would have collapsed on itself! By the way, CSX2001 was one of the double badge cars, AC medallion on the front, and the winged Shelby AC Cobra badge, and AC script badge and winged badge on the boot! Great photos, love them! Cheers, Dennis

The Breadvan photo next to the Ferrari brings out the English heritage of the Cobra's body.

Would be cool to follow the replication build of CSX2001 pictured. (Red-one)

If indeed that is what it is

Found some more pictures of the replica on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd_T4uKIz9y/

That is a picture of CSX2001 in 1964 documented in The First Three Shelby Cobras, by Gordon Bruce. Pages 67-72.
