Cobra prices at Barrett Jackson LV

The prices are down this year. Did anyone see the aluminum Cobra with the complicated history hammer at 165k? A rebuild of CSX 3231??

Another SPF went for 75k

The car in question is considered an "air car", built out of nothing from the original, while the original was "MIA" in the SAAC registry. Sold to a number of owners as original, then when the original car came out of the woodwork, with an undisputed chain of ownership, revin'd as a "replica". Enough bad juju that not many wanted to touch it.....Great price, absolutely, if I was there, perhaps I would have been a contender.....Yet, everyone looks at auctions like Barrett Jackson and others as the place to "remake the market", as if.......

I wish I had been there too, recreation or whatever they want to call it, great price for an aluminum Cobra. I think auctions like BJ are another canary indicator of the economy in general.

"Now correctly considered a high-quality aluminum-bodied re-creation it includes a mix of original and non-original Shelby parts"

It's a replica. A good one with an aluminum body, but still a replica.

It was a great alloy replica but no mag wheels, tan interior as all 427 were black interior and Weber’s. There are lots of Angliss fingerprints as I see it.
Questionable reassigned title ??? This is a big oh no as it might not be a 1966 anymore as a new title often means new born date?
Lots of questions and possible issues titling and registering so.....
My feeling 165,000 plus 10%
All in $181,500 not bad for the car as its not a HiTech alloy, AC, KMS nor a CSX car which are established benchmarks.

75k for SPF normal isn’t it for used market?
Remember $75,000 is $82,500 at BJ, that to me is strong.

I know Backdraft are all the rage but SPF seems strong to me at 82.5k.
Didn’t see that car but they are usually Windsor based and with decent appointments while also being available.
Hmmmm
