Did something get dropped on it by accident?

The rubber grommet is missing from the roll bar as well. Maybe something did fall on it or somehow some force was applied to that area or around the roll bar?

Body shifted against roll bar.

Front "A" arm bushings, a fluid flush, and about $10,000-$13,500 in bodywork and paint (no stripes) as well.

I'm asking this question from afar, and with - I admit - a degree of ignorance....
Why does, or why did ERA fit SW gauges to ERA 427 cars fitted with street dashes (as this car is)?
I am not aware of any original Shelby 427s outfitted this way. Am I wrong?

Cheers!
Glen :)

You'll have to ask Phil (now retired). Probably cost, reliability and availability.

Don't forget a new set of tires. How much are Avon's these days?

How could this happen? Poorly performed modification?

spdbrake 08-14-2022 10:06 AM

That L/H oil hose is kinked and frayed. Possibly towed from there?

spdbrake 08-14-2022 10:18 AM

I've got a feeling it was a "close enough, I just want it done and over with" issue.

Cool fuel cap, is most def vented, lol

Avons for the track
Cooper Cobras for the street
Front: 235/60/15
Rear: 295/50/15
$796.60 delivered to your door.

How do I know, just ordered new tires for "2080" this morning as my current Avon tires are now 11 years old and a risk to drive anywhere but to the local Ice Cream shop 4 miles away via 35mph back roads.
