Great day for a lunch cruise
Navyeod treated me to lunch today at a terrific deep south "meat and three" restaurant hidden in the back of a gas station in very rural central Alabama. The home style food was almost as good as the company and having an excuse to cruise some remote two-lane roads under clear blue skies in his Cobra and my Cheetah. To top it off we dropped in at APR, a local company specializing in Porsche and Audi performance parts. APR is part of the Holley family of companies and many of my car guy friends work there. They have some truly remarkable cars on display there. We both had a great time.

I'd say any day we take our cars out is a GREAT Day!! And having another club member along (And pay for Lunch) just makes that much better, glad you had a good time, Tommy. Cheers Tom.

I agree with Tommy, the temperature here in lovely Alabama has broken and it's it's now cruising weather.
Sidenote....Just got back from an outdoor ZZ TOP / Jeff Beck concert at Oak Mountain Ampitheater. The only thing that would have made it better would have been driving the Cobra. Won't drive the Cobra on those roads. Very rough.
Spent a couple hours with a guy I served with.
