Jacks that wont damage a nice floor?????

What do all you folks out there use to jack up your cars that wont damage or scratch up a nice garage floor??? If there even is such a thing....I just recently had my garage floor redone with epoxy. It is pretty tough stuff and light scratches will come right out with a light polish and wax. I am worried about putting deep marks in it with jacks and stands, etc. What do you all do to help eliminate this??? Thanks in advance for reading this and any info!!!!!Attachment 38291

3/4" Plywood Scraps to the size you need under the Jack and Stands

I concur.

Yes, squares of plywood, high density brown board, etc.

If you buy 2x6 and make 12 inch cuts you have the perfect base for a jack stand. I personal use Quickjack to get my Cobra off the ground. Takes me three minutes from start to finish. I own Good Year Billboards so they are always off the ground when I’m not running to avoid flat spots.

I just use a 2'x3' piece of Masonite. Thin, light, easy to store and cheap.

I forgot about Masonite.....Yes!!
We use it to protect Hardwood floors and tile when working in customers houses..Good Stuff, available in 1/8" or 1/4"

I couldn’t remember the term Masonite. That’s what I meant by high density brown board. Even 1/8” thick Masonite provides adequate protection for jacks and Jack stands.

Also, look at the new 2' X 2' boards with rubber on them for basement floors. They are (I think) 1/2" ply with a rubber dimpled backing to keep the moisture out. I would think they would be a nice cushion and non-skid. Home Depot carries them in the plywood area.
