rim savers

You might want to take a look at rimbladesusa.com I have them on all my vehicles not just for the protection of my rims but they add to the eye appeal in my opinion. They have just extended their Xmas sale and the kit comes with everything you need and the tire DOES NOT have to be removed to apply. My wife bruised one of her rims on her 350-Z and I had to make it right, it seems there is no easy way to match rim paints except mix it yourself. The Red Saver really helped her car white car's appearance in my opinion, so when she got her 370-Z she got her savers also. They also come in Black. Take a look.

If I was a 15-22 year old, driving a riced out car, slammed to the ground, fart can exhaust, maybe some NOS stickers on the side of the car and 10" rims that protruded 8" out from the wheelwells, maybe.....On a cobra, or anything else I drive, ugly, and that is being kind. :JEKYLHYDE

Just what is a rim saver?

And so it starts....

Patrickt, they're for people that park by Braille.

Interesting idea, might really help prevent those lighter bruises. I see you can get black or a more alloy color, not just a bold color to make a statement.

I would certainly give them a try if I had a car with low profile tires. Goodness knows my daughter needs to try these...she has yet to meet a curb she hasn't "kissed" with a rim....

Well I actually went to the site. So now I know what they are. I'm trying to figure out what color would go best with beige. Hmmmm, purple looks good....

If all else fails, get a set of "Curb Feelers" like my dad had on his 55 Chevy !!!!!

Reviews on Amazon are lukewarm.

Some like them and others commented that
outside very light contact they lack protection.

A few complained about coming loose/off.

YMMV

I wonder if this guy uses rim savers?

Patrick,

Why not order one of each color and drive around town and see what others think? Beige is such a great color and brings out the best in all colors

Damn, why didn't I think of that? A different color on each wheel. Yeah, that's the ticket.
