Lake George NY Summer Fun Run 2023
 

I realize that the 2023 Lake George Summer Fun is a long way off, but I wanted to put this reminder out there and give a sneak peek at what we have planned. First, the event will be held in Lake George, NY on the weekend following the 4th of July as it traditionally has been. (Friday, July 7th to Sunday, July 9th) Lake George is an extremely popular vacation destination so lodging accommodations fill up very fast. If you expect to stay overnight, I would highly recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible. There is no designated hotel but here are a few suggestions based on past experience.

There are many other options in Lake George and surrounding areas if something else appeals to you. The Saturday Driving tour is going to be epic; you will NOT want to miss this drive. We'll stop at an amazing Adirondack lunch venue and then drive to a little North wood’s village to sample some of the quaint shops and ice cream if so inclined. After that it's back to Lake George to spend time as you so desire. Sunday, for those interested, there will be a group drive to Saratoga Springs, NY (about 40 minutes south of LG) for a guided tour of the Saratoga Auto Museum and its amazing Bond in Motion exhibit. This is an incredible collection of cars and other memorabilia from the James Bond movies.

Who else is interested? Really is a great time. Nice to see this return after a few years being off. The run will be basically completely different. So many great roads in the Adirondacks mountains of Upstate NY, you can’t go wrong!

Yes, things are progressing nicely for this year's Run. For those arriving on Friday we have a group get together at a local iconic Lake George restaurant for both those planning on staying overnight and local Cobra owners. I'll post updated information on this forum and also on the Upstate Cobras Facebook page in the near future.
