Testing electrical connections

Many times, I find myself working alone and want to check switches or other electrical connections, yes, I could use a conductivity meter but an easy way I have found is to use an old 12V BILGE pump. It is very noisy and I know immediately, as soon as, I throw the switch if the connection is good or not.

Just a thought,

Bill K
