Edelbrock 1002 Air Cleaner
Boy what an absolute piece of garbage this thing is (was), like the look and figured i would give it a try. After cutting down the neck so it would fit under the hood (neatly in the scoop), i took it (and my new neighbor) for a ride. Felt like a rev limiter cutting in at 4k! JUNK.
Pulled over at a gas station took it and my neatly fashioned hold down bar and deposited the works in the trash. Drove home bare pickle, motor took a while to clear out after subjecting it to that thing. I just can’t wrap my head around “if it runs good leave it alone”… Steve H South Carolina and loving it! |
