Club Cobra - Final update 2023 lake george ny summer fun run

We are about a week away from the 2023 Summer Fun Run held in Lake George, NY and everything is in place for another terrific weekend in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York.
For those of you arriving from out of state and interested local Cobra owners, I have reserved space at the Log Jam Restaurant in Lake George for an informal dinner get-together on Friday, July 7th.
We’ll meet up at the Log Jam Restaurant at 5:00 PM Friday July 7, 2023. The restaurant is located at 1484 US 9, just south of Lake George. The Log Jam Restaurant | Steak House in Lake George, NY
The Saturday Driving tour is going to be epic; you will NOT want to miss this drive. The tour leaves from the Fort William Henry parking lot on Canada Ave at 10:30 AM sharp. Be there by 10 AM for a brief drivers meeting.
After a spirited drive on some of the best Adirondack backroad twisties, we’ll stop for lunch in a quiet little ADK village for lunch at a historic restaurant venue. After lunch feel free to check out the variety of stores and antique shops along Main Street. After that the second part of the tour takes us back to Lake George to spend time as you so desire.
Sunday morning, for those interested, there will be a group drive to Saratoga Springs, NY (about 40 minutes south of Lake George) for a tour of the Saratoga Auto Museum and its amazing Bond in Motion exhibit. https://www.saratogaautomuseum.org/current-exhibitions
This is an incredible collection of cars and other memorabilia from the James Bond movies. The museum also has a wide variety of other interesting cars ranging from old, classic Ferrari’s, an iconic VW Micro bus right from Woodstock, 70’s generation Indy cars and even an AmphiCar.
