Original 1960s Cobra Jacket

Long time Mustang and Cobra fan. My wife's uncle worked for Ford and had a connection to the Shelby project. He and his wife did not have kids so the nieces inherited their stuff. One of those items is an original vintage white insulated (shearling like) jackets. Blue and Red vertical stripe on right front with Cobra patch on chest. Ford patch on left shoulder. American Flag on right shoulder.
We may be open to selling it to someone who would love to have it, but mostly just want to have an idea of what it might be worth. I'm attaching some photos to give a better idea of what it looks like.

Nice, that is a post 1969 jacket with the Ford "Torino" Cobra logo, not a Shelby American jacket. A picture of the inside label will help to date it.

The inside label is almost completely gone. Can barely make out Size and Made in United States

1978-1986 aftermarket offering. Mustangs Unlimited, Mustangs Plus, and a host of other mustang related parts houses used to sell them over the counter and through their catalogs. Used to see those at Hershey and Carlisle by the rack load.

Oh darn! Was hoping the jacket was actually worn by Carroll Shelby and some of his DNA was on it LOL. Saw one very similar for sale on eBay for $149. So I am sure its not an original. Now to sell my 1969 Boss 302 Mustang in pristine condition.... Just kidding. I am gonna have to keep working for awhile!
