RIP Tom Larsen

I just learned of Tom's passing who died on September 1. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries...ry?id=53010224 Tom was the owner of the Pillar House in Newton Lower Falls, MA. But for car guys he was better known for his fantastic car collection. I met Tom through the Austin-Healey Club of New England as the owner of a beautiful Healey 100. https://i.vgy.me/h4eQWt.jpg We even had a bit of fun together when he autoxed the Honey West Cobra:

A really good guy who will be missed.

Tom was a real gentleman. I first met him at the inaugural Boston Cup in 2012 when my '69 Shelby was entered in the show. My wife and I were involved with the show for several years as volunteers and Tom was always a big part of it. He had a fantastic collection of about 15 cars that were exceptional. Cars like a Gullwing Mercedes, Lusso Ferrari, Porsche 356, Jaguar XKE, and my personal favorite the 289 Cobra that was used on the "Honey West" tv show back in the '60's. He drove them all. A kind man who will be missed in this hobby.
