Car show with ten Cobras
Yesterday an annual curated car show was held for the third year in downtown Auburn, Alabama. They solicit participants for the no-cost event months in advance and select the eighty or so who get reserved parking. My Cheetah was selected to attend all the shows so far. . . . As the show kicked off at 8 AM there were still a few empty parking spaces in a row and the emcee invited all to observe the arrival of the "feature group." Shortly, a parade of nine Cobra replicas came in, engines rumbling, to fill the empty spots. Most were built at the Unique Motorcars company in Gadsden, AL. Including another Superformance Cobra that arrived early there were ten in all for the crowd to admire.

It was stunning in person. I don't know any details but I would call it Black Cherry.

I think I saw a street Cobra with wire wheels and under exhaust, but no small block bodies.

The color of the last car is stunning! Is that its original paint, or not? I'm convinced that these cars weren't painted like this before.

correct, there were no 260/289 roadsters (I refuse to use the current term).
There were three 289 FIA Style bodies, all outfitted with 8.2" deck SBF's. The quick visual would have been the front radiator opening shape, the scalloped doors, and definitely less curvaceous contours.
The silver car was outfitted more like a conventional roadster with bumpers and bumperettes, grill, a luggage rack, and spoked knock-offs.

Here's another view of the cars. This is the 9 cars together (8 Unique, 3 of which were FIA bodies, and 1 Backdraft). The tenth, a Superformance car, was in another area

I asked the show organizer to contact the Cobra owner about the paint. The reply was, "The color is a Orion paint starset red candy pearl."

Edit the post and in the bottom right hand corner you will see some options. One of them is delete this post. Then it gives you a choice to delete the whole post or something else which I don't recall at the moment.

I bet it’s one of those paints if when one panel gets damaged the whole car needs respraying…but I still love it.
