Driveline snakebite kit?
I ran across a Superformance for sale, where the owner states that it has a driveline snakebite kit installed to the tune of 5k plus. Never heard of one, and couldn't fine any information on line about it. Any ideal?

What's it supposed to do?
At one time there was a "snakebite kit" but I believe that was to help heal sidepipe burns. Nothing related to "driveline". Blas watches this forum, maybe he knows. Jim former owner of 1855 & 2584 |
Never heard of anything by that name. But 5G cost?
Was thinking drive line parking brake? Also was a driveshaft hoop add-on. |

Never heard of a " driveline Snakebite kit", I know of the SPF owners "Snakebite" publication in the past, but never a specific driveline kit other than perhaps an installation kit for the drivetrain that someone put together in the distant past. Ask to see the paperwork on this, otherwise, the seller may be confused, or may have been told this by someone else, and decided to pass this misguided information along to you the new potential buyer. Sounds like someone is making up a story.

Send me the chassis number and I’ll look to see what info I have the dealer may give us a clue.
Message me off line if you like. Or my email is below. |
I will contact the seller, and try to get the number, along with requesting info on the kit. I left a message. The car in question is in Coeur D'Alene, ID. Facebook ad. Doesn't smell right, if you guys have never hear of it.
