Back again this time with an ERA, question on insurance
I'd be interested to know what companies people are using. Especially interested in those living in Long Island NY. Unfortunately, the car has the title 2020 Custom, not 1966 Cobra, Ford etc. Looked for a car for long time that had already gone through the NY certification. Any suggestions re insurance would be welcome.

American Modern Classic Car, Mike Smith agent in CT
|
Found American Modern less than helpful, through website and or 800 numbers. Would you have or be able to supply me with a number for Mike Smith? Got a quote from Hagerty that was reasonable but confusing on their coverage.

Another for American Modern. My local agent carries them.

You can try Robbin (a male) at Midwestclassics insurance.
robbin@midwestclassicins.com They insure through American Modern with agreed value. Easy to deal with, rates are low. I have my ERA and three other classic cars insured with him. I used to insure with American Collectors until I tried to add my ERA and they didn’t want to deal with it. Another place is the National Corvette Museum. They insure all sorts of classic cars and use American Modern. You don’t have to have a Corvette. https://www.ncminsurance.com/ The Corvette guys rave about how good they are especially the support they provide if your car gets damaged. The main guy they deal with is Adam. Good luck |
Also try the Barrett Jackson insurance. They used to be rebranded AIG but now I think they use multiple underwriters. That said they don't like single car collections...

Thanks for the response's went with Hagerty, agreed price and no mileage limitations
