Cannot believe this car is still around and reduced and still sitting.
If I had room, 100% would be headed to NH.

It’s definitely a beautiful car if I hadn’t gotten into the cobra I’m building I probably would have made an offer

A deal for someone wanting a very original Cobra.

I can’t get over it either. I wrote the same about it a couple months ago. There must be something I’m missing or not picking up on about the car.

High priced for a one-off manufacturer. If I'm going to drop close to 100K I'd stay with a SPF.

I'd characterize it as more of a 'faithful reproduction' than 'very original' - but that's just me.

Yes, limited mfg but everything available.

$83,900 or best offer. Faithfully copied carbon fiber body, round tube frame and IRS suspension, interior faithful to originals. FE (428 CJ), 5-speed. Nice paint, interior, underhood. Looks like a steal to me.

Yep, and the ol' farts around here forget that most people can barely afford to stop at McDonalds. Plus, if you can afford to drop $83,900, then you can afford to drop more than that and you probably will to get what you really want. And not a one-off car that most Cobra enthusiasts have never even seen in real life.

Originally had a 302 in it when first listed for sale, then the 428cj was installed, standard pistons with 8:1 compression, then states dyno'd at 425hp, which called in to question the quality of everything else used for the build.

On Cobra Country? I don't recall ever seeing that car listed with a 302.

The information gleaned from the owner as to why the "new engine". Of course details of the engine are vague, as are a good majority of other questions aimed at other details of the car. Pictures on Cobra Country do a disservice to the car as you only get one chance to make a first impression to a potential buyer.

It's odd to me that a car of that level of quality and originality of design would have a 428 vs 427. It was NOT a cheap car to build. Saving a few bucks on the 427 that in my opinion should be in there is odd. I guess it's just me. To each their own, I guess. It's still a gorgeous car. Exact's are beautiful cars.

Plenty of originals and even one or two ERA's have 428's. And dual roll bars, and...
