Windscreen frames

Hi from the UK!

I am on the lookout for windscreen frame options as in the UK we are rather tied to one company for our frames and they are pricy to say the least!

However it does seem that the same frame fits all the UK cobra bodies.
Is that the case in the US or are the curvature in the bodies quite different over in your neck of the woods?
Frames seem a lot more affordable so was trying to see whether getting one shipped over would be a better solution or not!

I have an AK sports cars 427 build if that means anything to any of you :)

Thanks,
Chris

I believe that most are similar other than the Superformance cars at least the ones from chassis number of about 1,000. Don't hold me to that number.

Superformance raised the center of the cowl at the hood to better accommodate taller engines. So what happens is that the height from top of the frame to to the body at the outside is similar the center height is shorter. Hope my description makes sense.

Hopefully other members will add to this and correct me or offer more info.

Jim
