Off course its a good excuse for insurance to deny a claim if you don't have the license. Wonder if the service personnel will have the license when test driving the vehicles, or even the valet parking personnel , if not insurance is at risk.

Having lived in Australia from 1966 to 1979 had my share of run-ins with their Gestapo police. My worst experience was reporting cops drinking on duty. I thought I was being a good citizen. Wrong! They protect themselves and I'll never forget how they threaten and roughed this young 19 year old immigrant kid. Shameful.

Well, not necessarily. Quite typically, it’s a young guy in a new Lamborghini, hooning and showing off, losing control on a city street, writing off his car and landing a big fine for being an irresponsible idiot.
I’m all for the special license. Could save the idiot’s life and also some innocent lives as well.
