Peace.

Evan,
I appreciate your candor and zeal. I would venture to say that if pressed, most of the members agree with you. I for one know that Shelby's CSX2xxx, 3xxx, 4xxx, & 7xxx are "REAL" shelby cobras and that only the 2xxx & 3xxx's were "Original". It isn't that complicated to my simple mind. We all fight love to give you a hard time about the trivial subtlities of the english language and our unique bias', but at the end of the day, I would bet that if we could, most, (but not all) would prefer a CSX s/n on our car (whatever the last 4 digits are). (although I personaly would have an internal debate about getting a Kirkham over the SAI, strictly due to their being such a class act and the wonderful qualityof their cars). Having said that, the baggage that has built up over the years is unfortunate and I think most of us could agree that CS (and others) have at least had a hand at fanning the flames. I still don't take anything away from him or his team. These debates must get a bit old to you, but you defend your position well. Regards, Keith |
Alright!
Anthony,
Well said, and very informative! I did not know the connection between Hi-Tech, and SAI. You are now my favorite CSX owner, and Evan is second... (just kidding Evan) I would guess SAI does in fact offer the fiberglass body to allow those who wish to buy a SAI car at a more reasonable price, and some people may in fact desire a fiberglass body over the metal (sacrilege, I know). This is as most manufacturers do, provide a product that customers want to buy. I guess thats why Superformance has the pedals supported from the top (along with other differances from the originals). Makes more sense to some people, and customers buy it from them! Anthony,
How about ME? TURK |
shhhhhhhhhhhh
Turk,
I've asked you not to talk about us on CC!! Eric :p |
