New Race Track for Central Ca.
There are some definate plans in the final stages to put a Motorsports complex in the area of the former Castle Air Force Base in Atwater Ca. Plans include a drag strip, 3.2 mile road course, 1/2 mile dirt for the Outlaw/sprint cars, and 1.2 mile superspeedway type asphalt oval, and maybe more. We have needed this for a long time and I am sure it will be well received.

Rick--passed your email on to the local SCCA--hope they got a big parking lot for autocrossing--they're taking the Winton Ramp (on the extreme northend) away from us. Course--the road course would be great for open track! :3DSMILE: |
