Its a four wheeler, not a motorcycle. You scared me for a minute.

I wonder if your head would crumble apart at those kinds of speeds.

That bike? reminds me of a favorite racing story I read years ago. A guy was making the rounds at drag race tracks demonstrating a V-8 powered motorcycle. One day, following two previous demo runs, he took it down the track and discovered at about 140 MPH that his throttle was stuck wide open. He grabbed the brakes and hit the ignition kill switch only to discover that the hot, high compression engine was running in diesel mode. It took about 2 seconds to burn up the brakes and he was soon accelerating again. He bailed out at about 160 MPH. As the rider/driver slid down the track in his leathers, the bike was last seen cartwheeling through a grove of trees beyond the end of the track. The driver survived with a few cuts and bruises, but the largest remaining piece of the bike was the engine block. When he went to remove any usable parts from the engine, he discovered leaves inside the cylinders as a result of the engine still pumping hard as it went through the trees.

Imagine the thrill/terror of bailing out at 250 MPH!

The cat's name is E.J. Potter, the "Michigan Madman". Hero to all us squirts back in the '60s. He's still out there, BUILDING all kinds of insane stuff. Link to him on, www.Google.com
