Cant seem to load pics to posts

Hey puter guys ,im afraid my computor iq is showing again.

i have been trying to post a pic i shot today on my dig. camera but when i hit submit my little flag icon just waves for minutes on end and wont do its normal thing.

dang that sounded stupid . Karl

Jamo 01-19-2003 11:40 PM

yup:p

Jamo 01-19-2003 11:44 PM

Sorry--I loves easy shots...

Are they already uploaded to your gallery here? If not--do that as it's much easier and allows bigger pics than simply posting from your hard drive. All you have to do is hit Upload, then browse--find the pic--open it--submit. Then to post, do http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...age title).jpg.

Jamo 01-19-2003 11:48 PM

For example--this one is [img]http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/data/500/11982interior.jpg[/img{add the closing bracket--I left it off so it wouldn't post the pic} BTW--nice car!

Well then you're a phucking moron.

Jamo 01-20-2003 12:02 AM

ok--what can I say--another easy shot. :p

Hoe did you do the pics that are in there now?

Let's review.

1. Hit the little phucking camera over your name.
2. Hit Upload.
3. Hit Browse.
4. Go the file where you have the pic you want. Now--make sure it's not more than 250 thingies.
5. Tap the pic--in another words, chose it.
6. Hit Open.
7. Should be back at the Upload screen--hit Submit.
8. Wait a few moments.

did it work?

KobraKarl 01-20-2003 12:07 AM

Hey ,no need to sweet talk me ,i can load anything from my pic files EXEPT any pic shot on this cannon digital.

KobraKarl 01-20-2003 12:09 AM

that it!! too many phucking thingies!!

so how do i reduce the thingies

Jamo 01-20-2003 12:17 AM

ok then!

Don't know what kind've photo program you got--but there's probably something under edit that allows you to make a duplicate of the pic (so you don't screw up your original). So--make a duplicate...

Now--when you make it, it should allow you to control the resolution--I usually go to 85%--still clear, but cuts down on the thingies. Also--try to make sure the pic is 600x480 or something like that. Bigger than that is bigger than you need here--and it cuts down on the thingies too.

Remember--duplicate first--the original you save may be your own.

KobraKarl 01-20-2003 01:47 AM

Jamo ,

damn that was a lot of brain damage, i preciate it !

even if you won't cuddle.

Karl,

My photo program has a resize selection under the Edit button. If you just wnat to put a picture in a post I think they are about 4K limit.Pixels, Jamo's thingies can be reduced several ways but I normally take a BMP picture, change it to JPG which reduces the size a huge amount and then use the resizing tool to put it on a post if that is where I want it. Remember that 4K isn't a very large amount of pixels and if the picture is spread out or enlarged it will be fuzzy and grainy. I can't get one out of my gallery using Jammo's method either but I think I missed one of the brackets. Hope this will help along whith what Jamo has already told you.

Ron :) :D %/
