The three position switch should be for the lights. The switch to it's left should be for the heater/defroster. There are also "doors" under the dash on the heater box that control whether the heat is deflected to the foot box or the windscreen.

thanks dave, I must have had the wrong switch in mind, but regardless, there's no switch that currently operates my fan, I will need to look at it again with the manual open so that I am isolating the right switch, swore it worked before, just wondering if the blower motor is audible and will you feel the current at the windshield, I am sure the lever on the heater box is described in the manual too, thanks again.

Don't forget to pull the hot water knob, otherwise you get no heat :D

Did you check your heater box doors...?
There's two doors on either end of the heater box...drivers and passengers. If those doors aren't opened, no matter how hard the fan may be blowing and no matter how much hot water is flowing through the heater core....you get diddly squat. Check your owners manual...in other words, RTFM....!
The doors pull down from the top and swing out towards either side of the car...hinges on the bottom side. Correct sequence of events is ... 1. Open heater box doors 2. Pull heater valve knob out 3. Turn on fan. 4. Toast right lower leg. Oh yeah, 0. Start car and let engine reach normal operating temperatures. |
thanks everyone, I will definitely RTFM this weekend for certain,

Dynamic had a top at last years SPF spring event in Cincinnati that used different bows. This allowed for full and easy snapping of the top onto the pins, and all other mounting points then with this over center piece added to the end of two of the hoop bars, you could EASILY apply tension to the top. Hard to visualize I know, but Mark at Dynamic can explain or may have a picture.
