New Daytona project
I currently own a Classic Roadster "COBRA" and I am looking for
a new project. It's either that or I have to paint the house this summer. Does anyone have any information on Daytonas that have been built. I am interested in the Factory Five and the Upstates Daytonas. I have heard that the Factory Five is fairly hard to build. Any information could save me both time and money.:) |
You may want to take a look at the Daytona section on FFcobra.com
Seems there are plenty of issues with the FFR, lots of body fitment issues with many that have been fixed. On major issue, the FFR is increased in size than the Upstates. Not sure if that is something you care about, but it's not original. -steve in nj- |
Thank you for the info. Yes I was aware of the longer
wheelbase. As you can tell from the fact that I have a classic roadster I'm not real concerned with exact reproductions. I know that ff sells a lot of cars and one of my concerns is size of the company. The reason is the back order problem and tech support. Classic was very bad in both departments. |
I thought back orders was their tech support

www.jblmotor.com also has a Coupe you might want to consider
