16" Wheels in the mid late 60's?
Hi
Anyone know if any vehicles that came out with 16" diameter wheels in the mid/late 60's? Classic racing in the country (NZ) you can use a part if other makes had it at time of application, and due to the fact there is a much better variety of tires for 16" wheels! Ant |
Why yes....
..the Ford GT Mk IV and the precursor "J" car hed 16" turbine wheels. Raced with 15" but did practice with 16s. Don't recall who supplied the tire in 16", i.e. Goodyear or Firestone.
I will ask J6 about this, I'm sure he knows more. Rick |
