The Corvette was reported stolen by a Bensalem, Pa. man to Allstate Ins. Com. on Jan. 4. and was traded in VA on Jan. 6th. Phila. Police have no record of the stolen Car or a report. The Corvette has been traced to a Bensalem, Pa. man, but Police have not been able to find the Cobra or the man. The cobra replica has an ID# R2470VA, bought in Carlisle, Pa in 1993 by the Portsmith, VA. man. This was posted in the Bucks Co. Courier Times today 2/6/03 and police are looking for the car or the man trading the Corvette.
These are tough times out there when beople report cars stolen and then trade them for other cars. Any one with info on the car is asked to call Bensalem Police Det. Robert Schutter at 215-633-3668.

Psychos abound...

If you want to trade, do the swap at the DMV, get a complete police report/state of registration DMV check, and make sure the person has no outstanding loan on the (car, whatever) as well. AND make up an agreement that you both sign and have NOTARIZED. It pays to never A$$ume.
