Eaton Posi 8.8 "c clip" groove
Update on the Eaton posi situation, I have just sent over to the US a 28spline CV Joint to one of your leading gear companies for them to machine a groove in the posi unit to take these axles. Anyone interested may know that Eaton do not make a posi to work with my setup so one company (R,R&P) is going to do this for me, they say it has been done before!
Eaton technical people have mentioned that this modification may become available to the 8.8's in about 18months, as they will tool up for it. Ant |
