Try clearing the browser cache to get rid of the temp files.
You can also do a disk cleanup if your using win98 or newer.

i had a similar probem when i upgraded my norton's anti virus to 03 levels and ADDED norton's personal firewall. i have to disable my firewall to get everything to show up,otherwise only a portion shows despite having emptied cookies, cache etc. i have win xp pro by the way and ie6. go figure. bill.

I was just getting ready to write to Computerworks (Ron) for help on this very same issue.....

Doesn't help that I am mostly an idiot when it comes to these damn 'puters (though I work on one all day). :JEKYLHYDE

Why is the time shown as last log on wrong? I never log on a 1:38 AM?

Thanks for all the advice. Everything seems to be ok now.

Bryan

This is a problem that has come up a lot for me on this site and others I frequent. It's a well known and very common issue and in most cases, right clicking on the image (or where it is supposed to be), you can click "show picture" and it will appear. It has something to do with caching. For those feel really comfortable with your computers, this is supposedly the fix (seems to be working for me). Warning: messing with your registry is risky business unless you know what you're doing. It's simple to make this change, but it's simple to screw things up if you delete something you shouldn't.

Open REGEDIT.EXE
Open \HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\PROTOCOLS\Name-Space Handler\

Delete the keys 'html' and 'ftp'
Leave the 'mk' key

The mk key is created by Windows and the others are created by getright 4.5
