NEVER MIND!

For some reason, the Atlantic pictures didn'y load....

I think the most beautiful ride built most be my wife!!! because she is letting me build a new JBL and has not ask me HOW MUCH!!!!

fordracer 02-09-2003 08:59 PM

I find it odd that the GT-40 hasn't been mentioned. There are too many cars for me to narrow down to one. I'm kind of partial to the Ferrari GTO or the Ferrari Daytona.

Yup David, you're right. Several of us think so.

[I can't pass up an easy shot--assolutely no offense intended.]

There's just something about Jaguars. I loved the XK120, the E-type, owned an Xj6 and an S-Type. It hurt to see the beautiful XK220s being beat up in the television races. Currently, I'm stuck on the F-Type. I could not take my eyes off it at the car show. I really hope it makes production.

You guys are mainly thinking too "modern".

Favourite for me has to be a 1935 Alvis Speed 20 DHC. Just beautiful, and a real "Discerning Gentleman's" car of it's time. Nice engineering too.

Hmmm...

OK--1936-37, okey dokey...since I'm an Audi freek, feast your eyes on this... I believe 200mph indicates sufficient engineering skills.

wilf leek 02-10-2003 02:53 PM

Jamo - could you get that in blue?

Jamo 02-10-2003 02:56 PM

Only came in bare arruminum.:3DSMILE:

BTW--it is posed on the roof of Audi headquarters.

wilf leek 02-10-2003 03:03 PM

Jamo - that support structure was the "centrepiece" at the Goodwood FOS either last year or the year before. Would make sense to transport it to the Audi HQ - it was spectacular.

Jamo 02-10-2003 03:16 PM

Didn't know that damn thing was portable. It was also used several years ago on the roof during the anniversary--same year Audi was the featured marque at Monterey.%/

RallySnake 02-10-2003 03:27 PM

Nice play Jamo,

I'll see your Audi and raise you one Jag. At least you could take your honey to lunch in this!

Aw...but you zee, der RallaeSnookem, zee frauline lays down infront of zee pilot and performs calming techniques to keep zee pilot from scaring zee hell out of himself at zee extreme speeds. :3DSMILE:

In 91, Audi had this in mind for a modern 12 cylinder Avus...room for the whole family!
