Almost a year ago I decided to get a Cobra. I was 59 then and decided that for my 60th birthday I would have the Cobra that has always eluded me since the mid 60's. Over the past year I have met some of the greatest people who share a love for one of the world's greatest automobiles. Now, I've got mine!!!!!
I received an e-mail yesterday from Reed Performance letting me know that Doug had left New Orleans with my car and to expect it sometime on Tuesday (10 days before my birthday - certainly didn't want the big present to be late). Well at 10:45 PM Doug pulls up to my house with car in tow. [At least I got to see the end of Joe Millionaire]. The car was everything I expected and then some. The alum 427 can only be described in one word: AWESOME
This baby is not for the faint of heart. Over the years I have had some real FAST cars, but nothing compares to this BEAST !!!

I just wanted to share THE JOY.

Do yourself a favor and enroll in a high performance driving school. Now that you have one of the fastest cars ever made, it is alot more fun when you have the experts show you how to use it. And getting some track time is what these cars are all about. Have fun
