Cranky, I know when we hit the track we pretty much assume liability on our own. But I do remember in the drivers meeting for novices at my first PDA event at Pocono that Joe said something about racing insurance. Maybe I should try contacting him.
I told my friend that it was probably very expensive. He knew it would be, but I think his wife loves that Mini and is giving him a hard time about it.
