Korean cars

If South Korea continues to give the US a ration of crap, I suggest that we quit buying their cars and let them ship their cars to the North Korean market....
Friends don't let friends drive Korean cars.......
:D
Let the Kias and Hyundi's go the way of the Daewoo...:JEKYLHYDE

I couldn't agree more, in fact, the fried engine and tranny in our 93 Hunday Excel are being replaced by a 65 283 Chevy and 350 TH!

Watch out, fellas, Hyundai is now no. 4, behind Toyota, Honda, and Nissan. AutoWeek reported that the cars are now of much higher quality...personally, I don't know one way or the other. Also, the 100 k warranties are helping to move product. But here's what's really amazing--the pundits are giving credit to the resurrection of Hyundai America to...drum roll...a lawyer! Now look, I'm one of them thar lawyer guys but even I'm surprised to learn that he turned the outfit around in about 4 years. Reportedly, Hyundai looked all over for a qualified auto exec to take over the operation...in desperation they finally asked him.

We bought a 2001 Hyndai for my daughter to drive back and forth to college. It has been a good car for her. Being on a college student budget she enjoy driving home to do laundry at 38 mpg.

It's a good student car but that's about it.
