Covering White Letter Tires???

ANYONE HAVE GOOD (EASY) WAY TO COVER WHITE LETTERS ON TIRES WHEN TURNED TO THE INSIDE?? I ALREADY KNOW THE TRICK ABOUT NEVER WASHING THEM!!**)

Black magic marker? Make sure its permanent!

You might try black shoe polish with one of those foam-tipped applicators. Don't know how water-proof it would be but if you're like a lot of us you won't be driving through a whole lot of water--

Thanks. That would work! I'll wait till after I make sure the tires are round first. Just put on new Dunlop Qualifiers on new Team3 wheels. Yep, 15".

flat black spray paint.

Dan,
If you want something a bit more perminant get vinyl paint. It has the ability to "flex" and will not wash off. You may have to look for it. some of the old auto parts stores carry it but the chain stores do not.

It is used to change the interior color of cars and works fairly well.

Isn't there a product called "Back to Black" or something similar, designed to essentially re-dye faded trim? Sounds somewhat like what 4RE mentioned. Might be another alternative that is easy to find at any auto parts store--
