TP Intake pics

Had the intake off the other day. So I thought I'd post some pics.

Replaced a failed head gasket and one bad valve. Also am modifying the sidepipes (went to 3" collector and racing mufflers). Jet-hot coated the headers and sidepipes (polished aluminum finish). Mostly back together--changing the pushrods and raising the rocker-arm shaft up a slight bit. Should be ready by next week.

The change to slightly longer pushrods and raising the rocker shaft is to correct what looks to be a geometry problem. Pushrods were rubbing the tunnels more than you would like and it looks like the rocker arm was contacting the shaft at too much of an angle (the whole assembly looks like it was at a slight wrong angle).

dang purty Bill, I just purchased the stelling/ helling cleaners for my new medium riser and they came with two different filters (green ,and a very porus brown) what are you using ?

I had the green and changed to the darker ones. They looked more porous, so I suppose they did flow a little better.

I am fabricating a a quasi cold-air pan that will seal against the top of the hood scoop and have changed to K&N's that flow through the top also.
