OT: machinist job in VA available
 
This is where I work and has been good for me. We are located in southern VA on the VA-Carolina line.
Martinsville Speedway is here and VIR is 30 min. away...(for what its worth.)If you have 5 axis skills, wire edm and cam skills would be a big plus.... just thought I would share.

The Martinsville DTI site DuPont Precision Concepts has immediate openings for qualified Machinists: Work schedule primarily 1st and 2nd shift Monday-Friday with additional shifts as business demands.
Skills and Competencies Required:
-Precision climate-controlled tool and die operation with micro machining
tolerances down to +/- 1 micron. Be qualified to set-up, program, and run
CNC and manual equipment, like; EDM, Mills, Lathes, Laser. Centerless
grinding and fluting diameter down to 30 microns. Candidate must be able
to read Blueprints.
-2 Year Technical Degree from accredited college + 5 yrs. experience.
Or
Certified Apprenticeship + 5 yrs. Experience.
-Operate PC within Windows environment.
-Self-lead and operate various equipment to achieve production schedules,
customer delivery and quality demands.
- Ability to interact with Engineers and other Machinists.
-Starting Salary - $19.96/hr. plus Benefits.
