Help setting time

Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong?

In my profile, I set my time difference to -8:00 hours, but I still am getting the wrong times on all the messages.

Is there something else I need to do?

Thanks

Bart,

I never set any time off set in my preference and I am always right on. I forget what the line is but it went all the way across the box. You are in Nevada and I am in Calif. so it shouldn't be that big of a thing. If you would like I can go out to my profile and look at exactly what I am using.

Try setting it to GMT in your User Options

I set it to GMT instead of -8 hours and all is fine.

Thanks

My time has always been wrong. After reading your post, I went into my profile and changed it. I had to use GMT +2 in order to get the right time for me (I'm located in Minnesota). Thanks for the info.

I think........

the GMT is off 8 hours.
