Memorabilia
Like a lot of club cobra members i also collect memorabilia. I have a number of Shelby fan club magazines but im not a member of S.A.A.C., its nice to meet drivers who raced cobras in the 60s and what better item to carry around at events. I would,nt take a book as they are too precious to me to carry around, British weather unpredictable. On the magazine pictured is the autographs of Phi Hill, Dan Gurney, Roy Salvadori and Bob Bondurant.

I'D SURELY CARRY IT AROUND IN A "SEALABLE" PLASTIC BAG. OR BETTER YET -- PLACE IT ON THE WALL OF MY STUDY IN A NICE FRAME. JUST A THOUGHT HERE - - IF THOSE AUTOGRAPHS ARE IN INK BE SURE NOT TO LET IT BE EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT - AND TO A MINIMUM OF ANY OTHER LIGHT. ULTRA-VIOLET LIGHT WILL FADE THE INK VERY QUICKLY. Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY - AND - TAKE CARE OF THAT TREASURE. BLACKJACK |

WOW! Great idea. I have many pieces signed by the old man from back in late 70s and early 80s. And I met and had mucho ops to get sigs from SA staff. I think yours is great idea.
Of course, the old man's signature is as common and worthless as grains of sand in the Sahara. I'm a fan of the good old boy but he has made autographing and lending his name for all kinds of crap his life's work it seems. bob ps. check out my photo gallery for neat memorabilia. |
