SPF1591 was delivered last Wed night. It took about 3 hours to prep the chassis and motor. We eased the Windsor in yesterday afternoon. Everything went very smoothly. Here's a pic...:D

Hey Chuck,
WARNING  WARNING  A moving-blanket monster is about to eat your beautiful engine    Couldn't resist! Tom |
HEY, did you have some real fun putting the headers on and trying to find the bolt holes once the engine was set in place. I just love that steering column and the space to fit my hands through. Passenger side not so bad!
TL   |
Is it taking on weight or is it giving birth?
|
The headers were pretty tough, my hands are pretty cut up right now. The thing with the headers is the bolt is so close to the pipe, you can't get a socket on it, so your stuck with an open end wrench. I bought a junk 7/16 wrench today which I need to bend the hard way to help confirm I've go the headers tight.
I sucessfully cut my shifter opening tonight, fore aft is dead on, lateral is about 1/8 out. I'll take it. Chuck |
an exciting day no doubt
Mr. DeWeese:
You must have been very excited while the engine was being installed. I cannot wait until its my time. Well, all good things come to those who wait. Again congratulations. Please do post some more pictures after the engine is installed. Good luck with your first drive. Juan Lopez-Bonilla |
Use of wrong name
Oooops!! I meant Chuck and not Deweese:
