"Engine Start" Button

For those that want an " Engine Start " button for their Cobra:

Honda S2000, part number 35881-S2A-911, for $34.88, from the Honda dealer.

Or, as the article stated , could also spend $131,465 which also includes a BMW Z8. Aston Martin DB7 and Cadillac XLR also have engine start buttons.

or you can goto a local hot rod distributor.

I paid $11.95 for one from Alamo Hot Rod....it works great...and looks perfect.

I like my toggle flip switch covered by a red thing you raise to toggle the switch and then slap the red thing down to shut'er off -That is what they use in real race cars - You don't see many race cars with push start buttons. Most serious racers use the flip type toggle switch.

Blake,

Can't pull up Alamo Hot Rods on the internet...
Went to Google and still no luck....

Argo,

Where can you purchase the toggle switch you mentioned.
I've seen them on Cobras and like the look...

They probably don't have a web site..it's a really small place here in San Antonio.

I have a pegasus catalog, and actually..it's the same price.

I put the red flip top switch for my fuel pump..I think I might add one more. I'm thinking of getting a mometary switch for the starter and taking the push button out...but not sure yet.

the red flip top switches are cool..i like them alot.
