South Florida Cobra Owners
To all Cobra Owners:
We have been invited to attend the Cruisin the Boulevard Downtown Hollywood Car Show, which meets at Young Circle in Hollywood the first Saturday of every month between 6-10pm. Also, we are getting feedback on starting a "South Florida" Cobra Club, open to all Cobras. Our first gathering will be on Saturday, April 5th at Young Circle at the show at 6pm. The Cancun Grill, located on Hollywood Circle, has extended us a 15% discount on drinks/dinner for Cobra owners after the show. We would like to get together to take advantage of events in the South Florida. We anticipate more events like the one we just had at Homestead on Saturday March 29th (laps on the Homestead Raceway track). We hope you can join us at Young Circle. Manny L |

Will there be any Cobra events the weekend of the 12th and 13th? I will be at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction and staying on Hutchinson Island, if there are any get togethers planned for Sunday I would also look to attend a cruise night if there are any on the 14th, 15th or 16th. in that general area. Thanks for your help.

Wow!!!What a bummer!!! Your timing's just a little off... The Gainsville Race Track event is the 19th and Frank N Son's BBQ Party in WPB is on the 26th.. Sorry your gonna miss em both..

Hey Manny, what a fantastic day we had at Homestead!!! Just to race our Cobra's in that track was worth the show entry fee alone, never mine all the other events we got to get in on. I really loved the extra VIP treatment we received for being part of the Cobra Club.
All of you that didn't know about it, STAY in touch... And all of you that did and didn't show up, man, did you miss out.. |
For all interested, I spoke with Luis today and he sends out a great big thanks for us comming out. He said the attendance for the show on Sat was 16,000 people and we missed Sunday when 23,000 people showed up. He also told me the bikini contest got alittle out of hand.
He has already booked the track for next year and has extended the invitation to us. He also said there might be and event in the comming months but just for running the 1/8 mile. I will keep everyone informed. Thanks again and look forward to seeing everyone this Sat at Young circle in ft lauderdale. Forever Bitten Frank H |
