How do I attatch a Microsoft Word document to thread??
Help! I have the Cobra Revolution registration form in Microsoft Word format. I guess it is saved as a .doc file. I know little about computers. Can someone please explain to me in plain English how I can attach it to a thread, so that I can post it for everyone? It is a Word document with photos attatched to it.
 Thanks. Steve |
Since it is not a pure picture file, it can't be uploaded to your Gallery.
The file has to be "hosted", or residing on a server somewhere. Ask Roscoe to put it up for you, then use the link he gives you for your post. If it is text and pictures, you might want to convert it to Acrobat format, so that those without MS Word can read it. I can help you if you want. |
Ron,
That would be great. I don't know how to convert a file, or anything like that. It's so sad, I'm only 30 years old, and computers have left me in the dust. I know how to do what I need to do, but anything else, I'm not too good. Steve |
Attach the doc to an e-mail to me...
and I'll get it converted for you tomorrow. |
Ron:
I finally got one on you. All you have to do is zip it and then attach it like a regular picture (not through the gallery). I did it with a spreadsheet about a year ago. :3DSMILE::3DSMILE::3DSMILE: http://www.uselessgraphics.com/plane44.gif |
Yeah...that's correct.
The forum software lets you attach these file types: gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg pdf Not everyone can handle a .zip file, though... ..but he can attach a .PDF but, you're right; that'll work...good suggestion;) |
Ron,
Check your e-mail. Thank you very much. Steve |
